Be Done
Everyday our actions contribute towards the problems associated with climate change. However with a little bit of common sense and conscious actions we can make everyday decisions that can help.
- Change your personal light bulbs. Like the bulb replacement employed by CarbonZERO, you too can save money and energy by switching the bulbs in your house to Compact Florescent Bulbs (CFL).
- Recycle!! By reusing materials additional raw materials are not brought into the production process (thus additional gathering processes are avoided). This includes buying used/ vintage goods.
- Use solar power to dry your clothes, hang a clothes line. The sun, while slower than your dryer, is the most efficient way to dry your clothes.
- Ride the bus, you bike, walk or carpool . It may take you a little longer to get to work but cars are a huge source of greenhouse gasses, suck it up and enjoy your additional
- Go paperless. Paying bills and using e-mail reduces the demand for paper, thus trees remain alive to absorb carbon and paper factories don?t have to produce as much

- Buy local. Locally produced goods do not require as many transportation miles.
- Shut off the computer and turn off the lights. Duh! Additionally unplug chargers usless they are being used.
- Get a work out by raking, shoveling and mowing the old fashioned way. Gas powered yard tools emit carbon too.
- Keep your tires inflated. Rigid tires mean better gas mileage.
- Turn the heat down and look stylish in a sweater.
